I really appreciate Andrew Denton's style; asking the hard questions of many different people. He has recently produced a documentry/movie called 'God On My Side' in which he visits the 63rd Convention of Religious Broadcasters in Gaylord, Texas. From what I have heard, Denton gives a fair and lucid portrayal of fundamental Christianity in America. It's a Christianity which seems to cash-in on its religion by selling a diverse range of 'Christian' products (such as having your own name inserted throughout the pages of the Bible). Furthermore, there is an overwhelming political support for Israel, which likely comes from their dispensational theology. I am very keen to see it after completing my final exam on the 15th Nov. If anyone is interested in coming along to see it feel free to email me or leave a comment and we will arrange a time. Most likely see the screening at Luna, Leederville.

Did you get to see the movie? I missed it so I'm hoping it'll be shown on TV or released on DVD sometime.

Sheridan Voysey, a Christian radio broadcaster in Sydney, interviewed Denton after the release of the movie.
